Intro

The spontaneous nature of my work is an integral part of the motivation and process. Meeting strangers in the world and gaining their trust in a few moments of shared space is beautiful to me. I am inspired by everyday people and particularly the misfits and forgotten populations of society, the drifters, sex workers, outsider artists, elderly, and unhinged. I see these people clearly and in my compositions, they in turn see themselves. My images act as a reflection of our undeniable connection, while acknowledging the fleeting moments between strangers. I stir the buried empathy and human interdependence by showing people in their most natural state, doing or talking about things they love.
